Get DSRs to pay attention to your brand
It was a cold and dreary night outside of Chicago...
It was more dreary inside the hotel room where your humble DSR Live co-hosts quickly videotaped a nine-part video series to answer common questions we receive from manufacturers on how to convince DSRs to sell more of their products.
Bill wanted to call the series "Positive Re-enforcement Techniques To Train Sales Reps: Strategic Use of Snacks and Whistles." DSR Dave nixed that idea.
Then DSR Dave came up with "The Foodservice Brand Marketing Vocational Technical Institute" (figuring marketers need remedial help to learn what sales is all about). But we weren't sure who we would offend more... brand marketers or vocational schools. So that title was dropped.
Finally, we ended up with Nine Ways to Care and Feed DSRs: A Video Miniseries for Foodservice Manufacturers Who Want To Sell More Stuff (hey, it's a working title... give us a break!).
The point we want to make is it doesn't have to be complicated or expensive to create powerful DSR communications programs that create deep loyalty and friendship between a brand and DSRs who sell your stuff every day.
We present Episode #1 here today... produced, written, directed, videotaped, edited, distributed and promoted by... oh, and starring... DSR Dave and Bill.
